Wellness Wednesdays Yoga: at the Civic Center (24 Upper Main Street, Morrisville)
Time: 5:30-6:45 pm
If you enjoy yoga and the insight, knowledge, and support that the teacher offers, imagine having two teachers. Kristen Rose and I will be co-creating and teaching this new Wednesday evening class. We will offer more individualized attention and support you as you support your path to wellness through Yoga and mindfulness. We will combine our wisdom and knowledge to make this class accessible to all, fun, and enlightening.

Please bring a mat and water bottle (some mats are available).
Research shows that yoga, meditation and mindfulness are powerful tools for recovery. Whether you are struggling with addiction, grief, PTSD, or depression and anxiety, come and find out how yoga can help you navigate these challenges. This class will be gentle to moderate and will focus on the ancient yogic philosophy as a healing tool.
Connect deeply with your body’s own innate wisdom as we explore a variety of warm up and cool down sequences along with foundation postures which calm, strengthen, and invigorate the body, mind, and spirit. Students of all levels and ability are welcome as students are encouraged to modify and explore movement based on their own unique needs. I offer an inspired teaching or theme in each class to further deepen the practice and to help apply the ancient yogic wisdom to our daily lives. Leave feeling relaxed, recharged, and renewed.
Yoga can seem intimidating. Yoga is for all ages, body types, and fitness levels. If you have been interested but a little unsure, I invite you to find a friend willing to try it with you. You will each pay half, which is just $5.00, and most likely have a lot of fun!

Everyone has a right to health, community, and support. I don’t want money to hold you back from practicing yoga, so please reach out to me confidentially if you would like to discuss other arrangements.
The Willow tree can not only bend In outrageous poses without snapping, but can grow and even thrive in the most challenging conditions. This reminds us to bend without breaking, to adjust to life rather than fight it. Most of all it reminds us to keep growing and reaching higher no matter where you were planted.
